Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 April / Trend / On 7 April, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev received the Turkmen delegation headed by Agageldi Mamedgeldiyev, the defense minister of the country, at President Palace. Head of the Azerbaijan State noted good opportunities for all-round cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The two people had, in all the periods, friendly and cooperative ties, and during the independent years the two countries should further expand these relations, President Aliyev stressed. The Head of State underlined that the cooperation between the Defense Ministries of the two countries would promote the development of bilateral relations. Defense minister of Turkmenistan Agageldi Mamedgeldiyev said that the expansion of cooperation between the two defense ministries and mutual exchange of the experience will enhance traditional friendly relationships.
