Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 October /Тrend News/ The U.S. President George Bush congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
Bush expressed hope for reaching an agreement on the base principles of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, as well as advancement with regards to common energy security. "We support Azerbaijan in its efforts to strengthen democratic institutions," congratulation message of the U.S. President says.
