The bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel will be developed at the previous level during the new government in Israel, Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Artur Lenk said on April 3.
Leader of the Likuid Party Benyamin Netanyahu puts on oath in Knesset on March 31. Netanyahu takes the post of Prime Minister for the second term.
"Netanyahu visited Baku in the middle of 90s and he has a very strong understand of the importance of our relations. Avigdor Lieberman was in Baku less than two years ago as deputy prime minister at that time. He is very focused on our relations and considers Azerbaijan as an important partner," he added.
