OSCE representative to discuss fulfillment of international obligations by Uzbekistan

Director of the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Janez Lenarcic, will discuss fulfillment of the international obligations in democracy by Uzbekistan and OSCE aid to Uzbek authority in Tashkent next week, OSCE's official message said.

Director of the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Janez Lenarcic, will discuss fulfillment of the international obligations in democracy by Uzbekistan and OSCE aid to Uzbek authority in Tashkent next week, OSCE's official message said.

As all OSCE participants-nations, Uzbekistan took obligation to conduct actions in human rights, democracy and leadership of law, the message said.

Lenarcic will meet with foreign minister Vladimir Norov, speaker of low house of the parliament Dilor Tashmuhamedov, director of national human rights center Akmal Saidov, members of central election commission and representatives of civil society during two-day-visit to be launched on July 20.

Lenarcic will address at the round table on Political and economic reforms in Uzbekistan.

After leaving Uzbekistan, Lenarcic will visit Kyrgyzstan where the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights expanded mission t observe presidential elections on July 23.
