Certain categories of the Turkmen population will be provided with outpatient drugs, medical care and medical products free of charge and on preferential basis.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's decree said that these measures have been taken in order to further improve health services provided to certain categories of people, improve their supply with medical goods in conformity with the national program and the Code on Social Security.
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Development and Finance ordered develop and submit to the government the appropriate regulatory documents within a month.
This document approved the list of people and kinds of diseases subject to the free provision of medicines, medical care and medical products, as well as a list of categories of people subject to the provision of drugs with 50 percent discount.
