The Georgian National Security Council will discuss a national strategy on Abkhazia and South Ossetia at today's meeting.
The meeting will be held in an expanded format. Representatives of the opposition, particularly, the Christian Democrats will present their proposals for a large security guarantees for the civilian population and protect human rights in these territories.
The National Democrats also will focus on expanding of the EU observer mandate and its real engagement.
Security Council Secretary Catherine Tkeshelashvili said a concrete plan to implement the strategy will be developed following the work on the concept of the state policy in the occupied territories will enter its final phase.
