The Movement for Just Georgia and For You, Georgia formalized agreement over a joint political activity. Following the signing of the agreement, it was announced today that the parties would jointly participate in municipal, parliamentary and presidential elections.
"We signed agreement of cooperation and we will act jointly in all election peripeteia. Ethnical groups in the Government must be presented in the Government as in the country. I am glad that this agreement is signed," said Zurab Nogaideli, leader of the Party for Just Georgia.
Fazil Aliyev, the former presidential candidate in Georgia and current leader of Party "For You, Georgia", which unites Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia, said the political course of Nogaideli-led Party was "acceptable" for him.
"That's why I decided to join the alliance with "The Movement for Just Georgia," Aliyev said.
Aliyev said his party had been established recently. "We agreed with members of the Board to join the alliance with Zurab Nogaideli-led party because this is a modern, authoritative party, and the policy it pursues is acceptable for us," Aliyev stressed.
