Kazakh Ambassador to Turkey Bagdad Amrayev organized a farewell party dedicated to the end of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Zakir Hashimov's tenure in the country and his appointment as new Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
The banquet was attended by the officials, MPs, representatives of embassies and compatriots, the Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey reported.
In his opening speech, Amrayev spoke about the friendly Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations and expressed confidence that Hashimov, as in Turkey, will successfully continue diplomatic activities in Kazakhstan, and wished him success in his responsible and honorable work.
In turn, Hashimov said he is leaving from one friendly country to another, and thanked the Turkish state and government for continued support in matters related to the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations during the period of his activity. Hashimov said he will remain forever love and respect to Turkey in his heart and thanked Amrayev for organization of a banquet.
Turkish Presidential Administration Secretary General Mustafa Isen spoke about the friendship among Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the history of these countries and stressed the importance of further developing relations between the Turkic-speaking countries.
