President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday has received credentials of incoming Jordanian ambassador Adel Mohammad Adaileh, AzerTAj state news agency reported.

During the talk, the Head of State praised the relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan, saying they were successfully and dynamically developing.

The Azerbaijani President recalled his recent meeting with the King of Jordan Abdullah II at the United Nations.

President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan and Jordan enjoyed very good political relations, stressing both countries had a strong will to develop the bilateral economic cooperation.

The Azerbaijani leader emphasized the two countries' joint projects, expressing confidence they would be a success.

Mr. Adaileh conveyed greetings of the King of Jordan Abdullah II to the Azerbaijani leader.

The ambassador praised the bilateral political relations, stressing the necessity of increasing efforts towards expanding the trade and economic cooperation.

Mr. Adaileh said the second meeting of the Azerbaijan-Jordan intergovernmental commission will be held in Baku late this year, adding King Abdullah instructed him to strengthen the bilateral relations.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the diplomat to extend his greetings to the King of Jordan.

President of Azerbaijan has also received credentials of Oman's new ambassador Qais Salim Ali al Said.

The Head of State praised the Azerbaijan-Oman relations.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked the Omani government for supporting Azerbaijan's position in international organizations, in particular the United Nations.

The Head of State said the two countries enjoyed good political relations, expressing confidence they would have positive impact on the economic cooperation.

Ali al Said conveyed greetings of Oman's Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said to the Azerbaijani leader.

The ambassador expressed confidence the Azerbaijan-Oman relations would continue developing.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the diplomat to extend his greetings to Oman's Sultan.

Ilham Aliyev has also received credentials of incoming Venezuelan ambassador David Nieves Velasquez Caraballo.

The President emphasized the importance of developing the Azerbaijan-Venezuela relations. He said there were good opportunities to build cooperation in a variety of fields.

The Head of State said there was a good potential to develop the relations between the two countries.

Velasquez Caraballo said it was a great honor for him to be Venezuela`s first ambassador in Azerbaijan.

The diplomat said Venezuela intended to build strong friendly relations with Azerbaijan in different fields.

Also, President Ilham Aliyev has received credentials of new ambassador of Zambia Patrick Nailobi Sinyinza.

The Head of State praised the Azerbaijan-Zambia relations.

The Azerbaijani leader stressed the importance of developing relations between the two countries in various fields.

Furthermore, President of Azerbaijan has received credentials of incoming Mauritanian ambassador Sidi Mohammed Ould Taleb Amar.

The ambassador said he was pleased to continue his career in Azerbaijan. He said Mauritania supported Azerbaijan's position concerning all issues, in particular the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The ambassador recalled a recent visit of Mauritania`s president to Azerbaijan, saying documents signed during the visit will contribute to developing the bilateral ties.

The diplomat said his country was interested in boosting agricultural relations with Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani President said the two countries` relations were developing at a rapid pace.

The Head of State hailed the recent visit by the Mauritanian President to Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev praised Mauritania`s supporting Azerbaijan`s fair stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Ilham Aliyev has also received credentials of new ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragoljub Ljepoja.

The Azerbaijani leader said the two countries had good potential to develop the bilateral relations, expressing assurance the cooperation will be expanded in various spheres.

Also, the President of Azerbaijan has received credentials of new ambassador of Mexico Jaime Enrique Garcia Amaral.

Touching upon activities of Azerbaijan`s representation in Mexico, the President highlighted the importance of diplomatic corps in boosting the bilateral ties.

The Head of State expressed hope the two countries would develop cooperation.

The ambassador conveyed greetings of President Felipe Calderon to the Azerbaijani leader. The diplomat said he would spare no efforts to contribute to further deepening the bilateral relations.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the ambassador to convey his best regards to his Mexican counterpart.
