An absolutely stable pre-election situation is observed in Azerbaijan. All conditions have been created for political struggle and electoral institutions are in a dynamic activity, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's Social and Political Department Head Ali Hasanov told journalists on Thursday.

"No serious offenses related to the election campaign are observed in the country," he said.

Elections to the Azerbaijani parliament are scheduled for Nov. 7. According to a list submitted to the Central Election Commission, the number of voters constantly living in the country is about 5 million people.

According to Hasanov, the problems arising in a number of constituencies and electoral institutions are studied and prevented in time.

Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral constituencies.
