Head of Adjaran government Levan Varshalomidze met with the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. The sides discussed issues of cooperation between Georgia and Turkey, the government of Adjara told Trend.
"The sides stressed the significance of the existing bilateral relations and supported their deepening," the government said.
The Turkish delegation headed by the Foreign Minister arrived in Batumi yesterday.
Today, the Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will receive his Turkish counterpart in Tbilisi. Later, Davutoglu will meet with the Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
