Employees of the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Los Angeles, Ramil Gurbanov and Orkhan Rustamli, attended a traditional annual reception organized by the Senate and the California Chamber of Commerce in Sacramento, the Consulate General said.
The reception was attended by Governor of California Jerry Brown, chairman of the California Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Chevron Corporation vice president Shariq Yosufzai and several other leading companies, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps.
There was a brief conversation between the Consulate General's employees and the Governor of California Jerry Brown, who attended the reception as guest of honor. Azerbaijani diplomats also met with representatives of the Senate and the diplomatic corps at the reception.
