Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi arrived in Saint Petersburg to attend a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation to be held today, IRNA reported.
The meeting of the Council of Government Heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will today kick off in Moscow.
The SCO, an intergovernmental mutual-security organization, was founded in 2001 in Shanghai by the leaders of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Pakistan has observer status along with India, Iran and Mongolia.
