President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has opened the central hospital during his Shaki trip.
The President cut a ribbon to officially open the facility.
Health Minister Oktay Shiraliyev informed the Head of State about the hospital. He said the 100-bed hospital has nearly 300 medical personnel. The foundation stone of the hospital was laid with participation of President Ilham Aliyev in September, 2008.
The hospital consists of six buildings and has resuscitation, surgery, oncology, eye diseases, diagnostics, polyclinic, dialysis and other unit and wards.
For the first time, monitors with special sensors in Azerbaijani language were installed in the hospital.
The facility has parking lots, pools, water depots, pumping station, and boiling-house.
The Azerbaijani leader met with region`s general public and hospital`s staff.
