Azerbaijan and Cooperation Council of Turkish Speaking States discussed issues of cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met Khalil Akinci, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on the sidelines of the 67th Session of the UN General Assembly.
They discussed the relations between Azerbaijan and Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States and exchanged views on measures aimed at gaining observer status at UN and other international organisations.
They also talked about ways to increase economic integration among member states, create consultation mechanism on the level of diplomatic missions at different regions and cooperate within international organisations.
