Another former Georgian minister summoned for questioning

Former Economy and Sustainable Development Minister, now adviser to Georgian President Vera Kobalia was summoned to the Georgian Interior Ministry. As the Interior Ministry said on Friday, she is summoned for questioning due to the case of attempt of bankrupting Cartu Bank.

Former Economy and Sustainable Development Minister, now adviser to Georgian President Vera Kobalia was summoned to the Georgian Interior Ministry. As the Interior Ministry said on Friday, she is summoned for questioning due to the case of attempt of bankrupting Cartu Bank.

The Interior Ministry did not specify date of the questioning.

Questioning of former Energy and Finance Minister Alexander Khetaguri on the same case is lasting for three hours at the Interior Ministry.

According to Khetaguri's lawyer, he does not know whether the questioning is associated with the investigation conducted by law enforcement agencies on the case of forming a criminal scheme to bankrupt Cartu Bank.

The Bank is owned by Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
