Georgia has no alternative to Europe, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said on Wednesday at a meeting with participants of the Eastern Partnership informal summit.
According to him, Parliament is considering the initiative to reflect in Constitution that Georgia will never enter any organization of post-Soviet space.
However Saakashvili said that this doesn't prevent the country from establishing relations with the countries of this region on individual basis.
"Georgia is more strongly associated with European direction, and I am confident that Europe sees Georgia as a reliable partner", Mikheil Saakashvili said.
