President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received an Egyptian delegation led by Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr.
The FM conveyed greetings and best regards of President of Egypt Mohamed Morsi to the Head of State.
Mohamed Kamel Amr noted the two countries were bound together by rich historical values.
He said there were big opportunities for development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of expanding bilateral ties between the two countries and developing cooperation in the areas of international relations and regional development.
The Head of State said there was good potential to establish strong partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
They also discussed issues related to development of the Azerbaijan-Egypt relations on different fronts, including in the fields of politics, economy, and investment making.
The Azerbaijani leader asked the Foreign Minister to pass on his greetings to the Egyptian President.
