BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. A total of 5,113 addresses have been set for meetings with voters (1,853 indoor premises and 3,259 open areas) in connection with the snap parliamentary election in Azerbaijan, the nation's Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairman Mazahir Panahov said, Trend reports.
He made the remark at a meeting on the possibilities of equal election campaigning and the basics of the activities of media actors in the upcoming election.
“Each constituency was allocated 14–15 seats. Conditions have also been created even for meetings of all candidates with voters," the official added.
To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
