Today no side stated on the obstacle in the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union (EU), Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, told journalists on Monday.
Touching upon the statement by Heikki Talvitie, the European Union’s special envoy to South Caucasus on the impediment of the program on expanded Europe: New Neighbors in South Caucasus in connection with Cypriot’s position on Azerbaijan, Mammadyarov said that amid the existing realities, no formal or informal statement on the obstacle in the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU has entered.
Regarding the meeting with the Foreign Minister of the Greek Cypriot in New York Mammadyarov said that the issue was not discussed the way it was presented in media
