President of Ukraine Victor Yushenko plans to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, the
head of the foreign ties department of the Azerbaijan’s president executive office Novruz Mammadov told Trend.
According to him, the issue had already been discussed. The experts of the both countries intend to elaborate the drafts of the bilateral documents. Some documents to be signed during the visit of the Ukrainian president to Azerbaijan are to be prepared, Mammadov added.
As for the date of the visit, Mammadov said, it had not been set yet, however, it is expected till the year-end.
According to diplomatic sources, the visit of Yushenko to Baku is expected in late November. The status of the visit is likely to be the state one.
