A two-day meeting of experts of the GUAM, a regional organization among Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova, was held in Kiev on 13 March.
Sabuhi Temirov, a permanent representative of Azerbaijan at the GUAM, an adviser of the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine, told Trend that the experts were working over Charter documents of future organization, which at the resolution of the Kishinev summit of GUAM will be established on the base of the GUAM.
According to Temirov, the documents to be drafted at a meeting of experts, the third of its kind, will be presented to the consideration of the national coordinators of GUAM, and later to the foreign ministers and presidents of the ember-countries.
The diplomat noted that an initiative by Ukraine on the organization of a next summit of GUAM in Kiev in May 2006 remains on focus. Prior to the summit it is planned to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers and national coordinators.
