An Action Plan under the European Unions New Neighborhood Policy can be regarded as accorded, Elmar Mammadyarov, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, said in a meeting with Deputy General Director of the foreign relationships Directorate of the European Commission, Fokion Fotiadis.
Fotiadis appreciated Azerbaijans policy on integration in to the EU, noting that the successes achieved serves to interests of both sides. The talks on focused on exchange of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU.
The Azerbaijani FM noted that Azerbaijans integration into Europe was the major priority of the countrys foreign policy. He also noted the significance of intensifying the EUs efforts in the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
