On December 12, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the Dagestan Delegation. The mission included the Consultant of the President of Dagestan, Said Gurbanov, Head of Darband Region Administration, Gurban Gurbanov and the Head of the Dagestan Representation in Azerbaijan, Mohamed Gurbanov, Trend reports.
The representatives presented their condolences in relation with the anniversary of the death of ex-Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev. Gurbanov spoke about his personal long friendship with Heydar Aliyev and shared his expressions. Mentioning invaluable service of Heydar Aliyev before the Azeri people, Mr. Gurbanov said that presently his ideas are being continued by Ilham Aliyev. Expressing his gratitude for the deep condolences, the Azerbaijan State Head said that he is well aware of the friendly relations of Heydar Aliyev and Said Gurbanov.
