Commenting the signing of the documents regarding Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku project which will be signed at the high level in Tbilisi in February, the American Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Matthew Bryza, briefed the media on January 24 in the airport while leaving Baku that the U.S. Administration is not against the construction of the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku railway.
According to him, there is the position of the U.S. Congress which bans the Government to provide financial assistance to the realization of the project. But the position of the Administration is other вЂ" in principle, we are not against the realization of the project. In addition, we (U.S. Administration) can not concretely support it due to the decision of the Congress, Bryza said.
