600 people took part in the rally which was organized and held by an Azerbaijan opposition party, Musavat on January 28, 2007, a source in the Baku Central Police Department informed Trend. The protesters walked from the Hazi Aslanov Metro till the Ukraine Square. The rally held by the opposition party, Musavat on January 28 was authorized by the Baku Executive Power. The Central Police Department of the Capital said that 600 members of the opposition parties, Musavat and Umud took part in the rally held on January 26 from 16:00 p.m. till 18:00 p.m. During the rally, no case of brutal violation of the public order and legal rights was revealed, said the Central Police Department.
