Azerbaijani Speaker Holds Meetings in   Poland

Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Aghayeva / The prospects of co-operation between Poland and Azerbaijani legislative bodies, bilateral and regional co-operation will be discussed by the Azerbaijani Speaker, Ogtay Asadov and Poland officials in Warsaw on 22 May, a source at the Azerbaijani Embassy to Poland has reported.

The head of the Azerbaijani legislation will meet with the Chairman of the Poland Senate, Bohdan Borusevich, the Chairman of the Seym, Ludvig Dorn, the Prime Minister, Yaroslav Kaczynsky, and the Foreign Minister, Anna Fotyga.

In the evening the Azerbaijani delegation will attend the state reception organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy to Hungary on the occasion of the Day of Republic.

The itinerary will also include a meeting with the Poland Minister for Economy, Co-chairman of the Poland-Azerbaijani Inter-governmental Commission on economic co-operation, Peter Vojniak. The President, Lev Kaczynsky, is expected to receive the delegation.

Earlier, the Warsaw Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation had visited Gdansk City where a meeting with the administration had been held. The delegation became familiar with the City's industrial enterprises. Bohdan Borusevich accompanied Ogtay Asadov during his visit.
