Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A.Ismayilova / The United States is prepared to support GUAM in the implementation of regional projects, according to a letter sent by the US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, to participants in the GUAM Summit which began in Baku on the 19th of June.
The United States and GUAM cooperate in the sphere of trade, transport and law-enforcement. The letter states that The United State plans to continue its cooperation and support with the current secretariat of GUAM to its contributing in the development of the regional cooperation, Rice writes.
The US Secretary of State voiced her gratitude to the Government of the Ukraine, which made great achievements during its chairmanship at GUAM. She also voiced her hope in the continuation of these achievements during Azerbaijan's chairmanship.
