The mass poisoning of pupils at the school of the Sumgayit city is a serious warning to parents and teachers and all the people involved in education, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov said On Oct.24.
Products of the Ukrainian Company Flint Night, which was distributed by the employees of 40 bulag 85 ltd at the secondary school No.38, have caused mass poisoning at the secondary school of Sumgayit, Azerbaijan city, Assistant to the Sumgayit City Prosecutor Ahmed Mammadov told Trend .
Some 45 pupils of secondary school were hospitalized with a diagnosis of poisoning. After the first aid the children were discharged from hospital.
The police have taken employees of the company distributing crackers to the Sumgayit City Police Department to testify and sent products for examination.
The minister urged all to be careful when purchasing products for children, especially if the product offered free.
