About 32 percent of Azerbaijan's population is young. The number of people aged 14 to 29 is 2.8 million people, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev said.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister gave detailed information to visitors about the activities of the Ministry.
Babayev said that more than 200 youth organizations operate in Azerbaijan. The Ministry supports their work conducting various competitions and trainings.
Russian youth comes Azerbaijan for the fourth time. The trip is to provide young Russian representatives with complete information about Azerbaijan. They participate actively in social and political life of their country and strengthen relations between young people of both countries.
