Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has left a meeting of the CIS Inter-Religious Council Presidium due to a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, Caucasian Muslims Office Deputy Chairman Haji Sabir Hasanli told journalists on Tuesday.
Media reported that Sargsyan walked out from the hall, but the Armenian president apologized after his speech and then left, saying "we will meet again," Hasanli said.
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade visited Armenia to attend the meeting of the CIS Inter-Religious Council Presidium. During Pashazade's speech, Sargsyan left the meeting.
