On 8 July the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board, Sheik-ul-Islam of Caucasus, Haji Allahshukur Pashazade will leave for Saudi Arabia, the Board told Trend.
The key objective of the visit, paid at the invitation of the Saudi Minister for Hajj, Fuad bin Abdulsalam al-Farsi, is to discuss the preparations for the forthcoming pilgrimage Hajj. During the visit it is planned to mull issues linked with the placement of pilgrims and their provision with transport. In Mecca Sheik-ul-Islam will meet with the Saudi Minister to define the quotes allotted for Azerbaijan and sign a relevant protocol.
On the way home the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board will land in Istanbul to participate in the conference with the influential religious figures of some Muslims countries dedicated to Hajj. Sheik-ul-Islam will deliver a speech to the event.
