Azeri Ministry of Education is going to start the В"Opening UNESCO chairs in higher education institutionsВ" program, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry.
At present, cooperation between the Ministry and UNESCO results in a number of programs, in particular В"Education for allВ", В"Associated schoolsВ" and В"professional technical education developmentВ". Cooperation with UNESCO especially influences the programs aimed at development and reformation of education system in Azerbaijan, the ministry officials said.
The main aspects of cooperation with UNESCO are equal access to quality education, modernization of education management system, update of education programs at all levels, teachers certification, ICT implementation in education system.
