The Editor-in-Chief of Tolishi Sado Newspaper, Novruzali Mammadov, who had been detained on February 2, 2007 in the territory of the 28th Police Department of Yasamal district of Baku city due to insubordination to the police employees, should be released on February 17, 2007, Trend reports with reference to Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan.
N.Mammadov had been detained near the Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan as a result of high words emerged between him and two policemen. After detention, Yasamal District Court passed a resolution sentencing Mammadov to 15-day prison.
