The Chairman of the Council, Nushiravan Maherramly, reported on 27 April that according to the new rules, the bid was held for the second time and could be won by the present company, even if the bid was not entered by three companies.
He stressed that the Council would strengthen its monitoring of TV channels, including ANS. "If the channel violates the legislation, their licenses will be ceased," Maherramly said. According to him, the license problems that exist in the regional channels Lankaran and Aygun will be resolved in the near future.
