Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / The decision on the suit of the lawyers Intigam Aliyev and Annagi Hajibeyli against the Ministry of Justice, the Juridical Council, and the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan was made during the hearing held on 2 May at the Yasamal District Court in Baku under the chairmanship of the judge Isa Ismaylov.
On 2 May, the plaintiff Hajibeyli reported that the suit had not been allowed. The plaintiffs consider the decision to be unfair and intend to apply to the Court of Appeal due to infringement of their rights for legal investigation, obtainment of data, juridical protection, and equality.
The reason for bringing the matter to court was the rejection of their demands, and to hold accountable the judges of the Nasimi District Court and the Court of Appeal, which had refused to receive their suit against the Bar.
Aliyev and Hajibeyli demand to return illegal the rejection of their appeals.
