Azerbaijan, Ganja / Тrend corr V. Mammadov / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has allotted AZN 1mln for the overall repair of Schools 23 and 6 of the city of Ganja, the head of Ganja City Education Department, Mahal Aliyev reported on 5 June.
According to Aliyev, the heating system in the schools will be reconstructed along with new technical equipment.
There are plans to repair eight Ganja schools this year, Aliyev said. Repair work has already begun in Schools 23, 6, 5 and 41.
Ganja is situated 365 km west of Baku.
