Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Javadova / Victims are giving testimonies at the hearings over the case of Azerbaijan's Former Minister of Economic Development, Farhad Aliyev, his brother Rafik Aliyev, former President of the Azpetrol Group of Companies, and other seventeen people, at the Court of Grave Crimes presided over by Judge Tofik Pashayev. This time evidences were provided by R.Aliyev.
In compliance with indictment act, from December 2001 to October 2005 heading the Azer Trans Ltd, Azpetrol Ltd, Azpetrol, Azinvest, Aqroimport oil companies and Prestij limited company R.Aliyev had evaded from paying taxes through his brother support.
Azpetrol Ltd functioned without a license ad it means that R.Aliyev was engaged in illegal business. R.Aliyev did not agree with accusations brought against him.
R.Aliyav is also charged with attempt to export $30,000.
