Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan’s Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) Orkhan Mammadov has met with Chairperson of the Board of the Azerbaijan-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry Teyba Guliyeva and members of the chamber, Trend reports referring to the Agency.
During the meeting, the chamber’s representatives were informed about the Agency’s activities, measures to support SMEs, cooperation with foreign organizations in the field of SMEs including cooperation with the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF) established last year.
The prospects of cooperation between the Agency and the Chamber were also discussed.
Enrichment of knowledge and improvement of the skills of business youth and women entrepreneurs, the strengthening of the role of SMEs in employment, access to financial resources and foreign markets, organization of a joint forum with the participation of SMEs, the study of France’s experience in public-private sectors’ cooperation were mentioned as the main areas of the cooperation.
