BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. Azerbaijan exported 308,432 tons of cement worth $13.347 million in the first half of 2022, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
This figure is 22.7 percent more in value terms and 52.1 percent more in quantitative terms than the same period's indicator in 2021.
In the reporting period, 308,431 tons of the mentioned product (growth of 22.7 percent year on year) amounting to $13.346 million (growth of 52.1 percent) were exported to Georgia and 0.02 tons in the amount of 20 cents – to Türkiye.
Following the break, deliveries to Germany have been resumed. A total of 15 tons of clay worth 90 cents have been exported to the country.
During this period, the first Azerbaijani cement supplies in the amount of 1.5 tons worth $160 have been made to the UAE.
