Some 2,500 buildings were constructed in Turkmenistan in 1H2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan State News Agency.
Some 14 large objects, as well as housing units, with a total area of 509,000 square meters, were established in 1H2020. The total cost of the constructed buildings is more than $37 billion.
In general, the plan for the manufacture of products and services in the country's construction and industrial sector in 1H2020 was exceeded by 12.8 percent, in comparison with the same period last year.
In particular, comparing to the same period last year the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan exceeded the plan by 7.7 percent in 1H2020.
Currently, the construction of the administrative center of the Akhal region continues, where it is planned to open the Board of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, branches of Turkmenistan, Daıhanbank, Halkbank, Senagat state commercial banks, as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and other organizations.
