Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / The Bill on Insurance will be put for the first reading at the autumn session of the Azerbaijani Parliament on 9 October, a member of the Parliamentary Commission on Economic Issues, MP Vahid Ahmadov, said on 3 October.
The Bill was recommended for the first reading at the meeting of the parliamentary commission on 18 September.
The new Bill on Insurance was developed on the basis of world's insurance experience and it corresponds with today's economic situation more than the acting bill, the head of the State Insurance Control at the Azerbaijan Finance Ministry, Namig Khalilov, said earlier.
The acting Bill on Insurance was adopted in 1997.
