Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / The 25th session of the Assembly of the International Marine Organization (IMO) will be held in London from 19 to 30 November 2007.
Some 180 IMO member-countries, including Azerbaijan will attend the session. Gudrat Gurbanov, head of the Azerbaijani Marine Administration, will head the Azerbaijani delegation.
The agenda includes issues concerning the presidential and vice presidential elections of the Assembly for a two year term, elections to the Council of the Committee, reports by IMO member-countries, reports by Committees on marine security, protection of marine sphere and many others.
