( dpa ) - Taiwan's EVA Air is to launch a Taipei- Osaka- Los Angeles route from Wednesday to provide nonstop service between Southern California and Japan, the airline said in a statement Monday.
The new flights will be operated three days a week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, using the new Boeing 777-300ER jetliners, EVA said.
The new service is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles in the morning so that passengers traveling from Taiwan can make same-day connections onward to other US destinations on EVA's code-share allies or with other airlines, the company said.
