Azerbaijan and Korea signed a memorandum of mutual understanding in a postal field in Baku on June 9, the Communications and Information Technology (IT) Ministry said on June 9.

From Azerbaijan, Director General of Azerpocht Gambar Baybalayev signed the paper, and Director General of Korea Post Kim Ki Deok from Korea.

The signed memorandum aims to establish a framework that provides cooperation between the parties. Under the paper, the parties will cooperate in various areas of the postal sector, in particular, exchanging personnel, experience and information on matters of mutual interest in technology and in the field of postal services, etc.

Korean side also donated 100 computers to Azerpocht.

The delegation of the postal administrations of Korea headed by its leader, Kim Ki Deok arrived in Baku on June 9.
