Roughly 2,104 fake banknotes to the amount of 193,000 manat were withdrawn from turnover as a result of actions taken to counteract crimes in economic activity in Azerbaijan in the first six months, deputy interior minister Vilayat Eyvazov said at staff meeting as a result of six months, the interior ministry said.
Roughly 10 criminal facts were revealed by head department on combat with organized crime. Over 60 tons of expired food, 5,000 infringing drinks, over 120 tons of construction materials, as well as 7,000 medical preparations forbidden for sale were withdrawn.
