In August, prices in the first market of housing Baku increased by 0.4 percent and reached $948 dollars per square meters compared to $944 in August, the Property Market public organization said.
Price rise was observed in the Yasamal District (2.6 percent), Narimanov District (1.8 percent) and Nizami Disrict (one percent) and price fell was observed in the Sabail District (7 percent), Surakhani District (6.6 percent), Binagadi District (2.8 percent ) and Nasimi Disrict (0.1 percent).
In August, construction of 476 buildings was continued on Baku initial dwelling market. The number of construction companies hit 172.
A greater number of new buildings continued to be built in Yasamal, Khatai and Nasimi districts of Baku, which accounted for 64.9 percent of total portfolio of the first housing market.
The average size of apartments in new buildings in Baku dropped 0.1 percent up to 121.8 square meters. The average indicator hit 2.4 and the average floor rate dropped by 0.6 and was 14.9.
