Azerbaijani-Turkish insurance company Basak Inam completes preparatory operations to transfer to automated governance system, chairman of the company's board Orhan Huseynov said on October 7.

"Complete introduction of new software will complete by late 2009. The company's operational activity will be fully managed by a new program from 2010," Huseynov said.

He said that the company planned to pass to a new system in June. But term of its introduction was prolonged by late 2009 due to changes with introduction of the program.

The company's new program will allow following each process while signing the insurance agreement without outside interference. Number of employees in Basak Inam is planned to be reduced two times after a new program is introduced, Huseynov said. Presently, 45 employees operate in the company.

He said that discharge of employees who worked over introduction of this program has natural character. It is not reduction of the staff.

Several employees involved in this process will work in sale department. But those employees who fail this task will be dismissed, Huseynov said.

Shareholders of Basak Inam are French company Groupama. Groupama bought 60 percent of shares of the company's founder - Turkish Basaк. Basaк has 49 percent of shares but Azerbaijani side has 51 percent.
