Azersu JSC has not appealed to the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan for increasing tariff on water provided for population, the President of Azersu JSC Nazameddin Rzayev said.
"We do not plan to appeal for increasing the cost of water," said Rzayev. Now the cost per cubic meter of water (including the cost of the services of sewerage) for the population ranges from 0.17 to 0.22 manat.
Rzayev said that Azersu now improves the quality of water supply: reconstructs the main lines that have become unusable, builds a water reservoir, establish pumps, repairs existing repository.
"The quality of water supplied to the population is checked daily, and there is no problem with drinking water," said Rzayev.
