Head of "Azeryolservis" under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport Javid Gurbanov met with Ardebil province governor Mansour Haqiqatpour, Ardebil province Executive Power spokesman Rizvan Baglachi said.
Head of Azeryolservis JSC Gurbanov said that Baku wants to participate in road construction projects in the province and seeks to cooperate, he said.
Gurbanov said that "Azeryolservis" is ready to cooperate in the implementation of road-building and railway projects in the province of Ardabil having a bank guarantee of the Iranian government.
There are all conditions for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ardebil province, Haqiqatpour said at the meeting.
"During the visit of Iranian Interior Minister to Baku, a decision was made that the four provinces of Iran will cooperate with Azerbaijan. Ardabil province must head this cooperation in economic, construction and other spheres," Haqiqatpour said.
Ardabil Province will cooperate with Azerbaijan in the production of cement in the Iranian city of Meshk Shehr, establishing a joint industrial zone in Germi, growing beets in the sown areas of Azerbaijan, establishment of enterprises for breeding fish, conduct cooperation in petrochemical projects, textile industry etc.
